What's actually in Myo Glide?

Coconut oil and beeswax. That's the whole formula — no fragrance, no preservatives, no emulsifiers, no fillers. It's the same two-ingredient ratio the product started with in the early nineties.

What's the difference between Firm and Soft?

Firm is denser, with more grip and a slower glide — built for deep tissue, myofascial work, and structural integration. Soft is more pliable and spreads easily, which suits Swedish and relaxation work, or everyday use as a body cream.

Will it stain sheets or clothing?

It's an oil-and-wax balm, so like any massage medium it can leave a mark on fabric if used heavily. A warm wash with a standard detergent handles it. Because there's no fragrance or dye, it won't discolor linens.

Is it safe for the face, lips, and sensitive skin?

Yes. With only two food-grade ingredients there's very little to react to, and it's used regularly on faces and hands. If you have a known coconut or bee-product allergy, this isn't the product for you.

Is it nut-free? Vegan?

Coconut is a drupe, not a tree nut, but people with tree-nut sensitivities should check with their provider. It is not vegan — beeswax is one of the two ingredients.

How long does a jar last?

A working therapist doing 15–20 sessions a week typically gets several weeks from a 4 oz jar. At home, a jar can last months.

How should I store it? Does it expire?

Keep it at room temperature and out of direct sun. There's no water in the formula, so there's nothing to spoil — it stays good for well over a year. In heat it softens; in a cold room it firms up. Warming a scoop between your palms restores the texture.

Does the texture change in hot weather?

It can arrive softer in summer shipping. It's completely fine to use, and it re-firms at room temperature. Nothing separates or breaks down.
